It’s Book Fair Time!! June 4-12, 2014

Volunteers are welcome! Please contact me at 781-314-5687 if you can help. Important info: -If you choose to give your child money to spend at the Fair, please send your child to the Fair with his/her money in a sealed envelope or Ziploc bag. -Usually, the average cost of a paperback book is $5.00-$8.00 and we must charge sales tax. -Checks may be made payable to Fitzgerald School. -Books that have not been paid for cannot be “held” for students. There will be parent volunteers to assist your child in picking out books and counting money at the Fair.

New Year.... great time to volunteer!

Welcome back to the 2013-2014 school year! I'm looking forward to an exciting year with your children. Parents are invited to attend a meeting to discuss volunteer opportunities in the library this year. Grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc are also welcome to attend. Notices will go home this week, but here's the information: Where: Fitzgerald School Library When: Tuesday, Sept. 10 2013 Time: 8:50am-9:45am Please note that all volunteers must be CORId. A CORI report lasts for 3 school years. If your CORI is expired or you haven't applied, please bring your ID to the meeting so you can complete a form. Hope to see lots of volunteers! Volunteering is a great way to get to know the school and the students.

Volunteers Needed!

Are you interested in volunteering your time at your child's school?  The library is an ideal place to help out for an hour or two each week.  I need plenty of help with checking books in and out, shelving, helping students select books, book fairs, and a whole lot more!  Please try to attend my coffee on Wed., Sept 5 at 8:50am in the cafeteria.  If you can't make it, please send me an email or call me at 781-314-5687.  I will also be avaiable at Open House Night on Thursday, Sept.20th from 6:30-8:00 pm.  Looking forward to seeing my past volunteers as well as meeting new ones!!

The Book Fair is here!

After much anticipation and lots of preparation, the book fair has arrived!  It will be open all week during the school day, as well as the following after school hours:

Tuesday 1-3pm, 5-6:30pm
Wed 3-4pm
Fri 3-4pm
